RedBeard is down the laneway opposite Trentham's town square (off High St, Trentham, Victoria) - look for the red 'Bakery' bollards.
Whether you are looking for fabulous coffee, a sneak peak at the 140 year old woodfired Scotch oven, an indulgent breakfast, a lingering lunch, or a luscious cake for afternoon tea, RedBeard will delight you. With its oven-warmed interior for winter and cool summer courtyard, RedBeard is popular all year round with locals and visitors.
We make all food on the premises using local, seasonal, organic ingredients where possible. Our menu includes organic Fair Trade coffee, cakes, biscuits, pastries, pies, sausage rolls, quiches, soups, focaccias and tasting plates. We are fully licensed.
Cooked breakfasts are available every day: free range local eggs - all ways - with a wide range of sides (Istra bacon, Tuki chipolatas, seasonal vegetables, Scotch oven baked beans made in house) and toast, of course.
Visitors are invited to view our historic Scotch oven with its cast iron doors and massive domed brick ceiling. Fascinating tours are also available if you book at least 7 days in advance.
